Handcrafted Pottery For Everyday Life
Handcrafted Po1 Columnttery For
Everyday Life
Women's Torsos & Mermaids
Celebrate your body. Feel your strength. Rejoice in your beauty.
Impressed with...
pine symbolizing virtue, long life, and renewal,
a daisy symbolizing new beginnings and joy and
laurel reminding us to reclaim our voice and our wisdom as we rebalance our life.
The mermaid pieces were just a natural for me to follow with. The significance of a body moving fluidly through water, a dance with earth’s element that is in itself the symbol of vast strength, the mermaid myths in various cultures never cease to amaze me and the fairy tales always enrapture my imagination.
Mugs, tumblers, goblets, bowls, dishes, etc... the every day items you use to deliver nourishment to your body now also nurtures your self-expression when you use Rachelle's pottery that complements your personality!
All of Rachelle's pieces are oven and microwave safe so go and cook to your heart's content! Then take your piece directly from oven to table top, serving up a delectable meal that looks as fabulous as it tastes!
Play with whimsy, add pops of color, and incorporate earthy textures by adding a selection of Rachelle's pottery as decoration in your home. Most of her pieces feature a functional element, all while oozing warmth and coziness

Rachelle's pottery is beautiful and are works of art! I appreciate the notes she encloses in each order- I love having her pieces in my classroom and home. Every time I see them and touch them I feel connected to her and the love and positive vibes she put into making them.

I currently have four pieces of Rachelle’s pottery and I love each piece for how beautiful, unique, and special they each are. Three of the pieces I have in my home as decorations and every time I see them in my home, they bring me so much joy. I love the layers and depths of color. They are simply beautiful.
My mug has become such a source of comfort to me. I love curling up with a cup of tea and having my special mug cradled in my hands.
Rachelle’s loving and caring nature is in every piece she creates. I love the beauty and comforting feeling her Rachelle’s pottery creates in our home.
(PS...now Diana has more pieces!)

During the past year my "Rachelle Collection" of unique, one-of-a-kind pottery has grown to nearly 70 pieces. I own quite a variety of Rachelle's art - from a Brie Baker in gorgeous shades of blue to a purple (my favorite color, and Rachelle's!) table-top Christmas tree. The collection includes over a dozen individualized mugs and a variety of stunning vases/planters. I ended up buying a curio cabinet just to display my newly acquired pieces of beautiful pottery.
I have, as well, discovered that Rachelle's pottery makes a greatly welcomed gift for any special someone. Whether treating yourself or a loved one, you can't go wrong when selecting a piece, or two, of Rachelle's eye-catching pottery.

Can I use your pottery for food and drink?
Yes! You can use my pottery for food and drink! It is fabulous for everyday use or to celebrate special occasions.
Is your pottery microwave safe?
Yes! My pottery is microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe! But, take care, they are works of art. I recommend handwashing so that pieces don't get chipped knocking into other ones in the dishwasher; you know how that happens. When baking or cooking with them, be sure to preheat the pieces along with the oven.
Why are the bottoms, and sometimes other parts, unglazed and are those still food safe?
Yes! Even the unglazed parts of my pottery are food safe. I use stoneware and porcelain clays and fire at high temperatures. The clay vitrifies in the kiln which closes up the pores and makes it food safe! The bottom of the pieces are left unglazed so they don't fire to the kiln shelves and get stuck!
